Installation FAQs
We handle almost everything: furniture moving, old flooring removal, and cleanup are all included. Before we arrive, just clear small personal items from surfaces (photos, plants, electronics). We'll let you know if anything specific needs your attention.
Some dust and noise is unavoidable, especially during demolition and cutting. We use dust containment measures and clean up thoroughly when we're done. For hardwood refinishing, dust containment is more extensive since sanding produces fine particles.
Access and cure time depend on the product and work area. We explain the planned sequence and manufacturer instructions in your written scope.
It happens sometimes: water damage, mold, or rotted subfloor hidden under old carpet or tile. If we find issues during demolition, we stop and discuss options with you before proceeding. Subfloor repairs are quoted separately so there are no surprises.
Yes. Transition strips between different flooring types or heights are included in our all-in price. We match them to your new flooring for a clean, professional look.
Our limited lifetime installation warranty covers eligible installation workmanship defects for the original homeowner at the original owner-occupied address. Material warranty terms vary by manufacturer and product. Read the warranty page for the full conditions and exclusions.
